WHEN YOUR BEST JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER

You've seen Hypnotic do shows before............

But if you missed the Blue Note, i want to let you to know you missed a tremendous, spectacular, extraordinarily epic, special in every way, colossally classic night in the Hypnotic World.

Unfortunately, I'm not putting any pics up yet. You'll have to find out from one of your friends that made it to the show. For now, i leave you with these words. FAMILY IS EVERYTHING.

NEXT UP.

THE BLUE NOTE. We have a special treat for all the true H.B.E fans. See you there.

Doing what we love, and doing it well

Hypnotic came back to New York hitting hard. A nice amount of shows and some very interesting possibilities for the near future. We'll speak on those when they come into fruition. Hypnotics last day playing on the streets is on september 1st. So we that we haven't gotten much sleep this last month. Outside of giving our blood, sweat and tears somewhere in the city everyday, more shows are being booked. More countries and cities are calling for us (You can go to HYPNOTICBRASS.NET to see our tour dates).

H.B.E in paradise

St. Lucia is paradise! We were there to play the St. Lucia Jazz Festival. We were treated like kings, or something like it. The food, the landscape, the women, the climate... this is a place of natural beauty. We almost didn't come back to the U.S., it felt like home. We'll be back there next year!

Another star on the list

There is a long list of celebrities that have our album. Dave Chappelle is the most recent. After doing Joes Pub, you know how Hypnotic gets down. We were right back in the streets the next day. Outside of being the walking dead from no sleep the night before, the park security was giving us a hard time. Dave and his family just happened to be at the Lotus festival at union square. He walked up and talked the green shirts into getting off our backs. So we played a song for him. Gathered a crazy crowd. Popped cd's and posed for pics. He's a cool cat. We'll see what comes from it.

The next level

After playing London, we prepared ourselves for a crazy night at Joes Pub in New York. People were scalping our tickets for $150. True fans! We turned away another 200 people at the door. We did tell everyone to get their tickets online. Those that did, got a special treat. Those that didn't, either paid a ton of money or missed out on Hypnotic taking it to the next level.

The Good, The Bad, and The Queen ft. Hypnotic Brass Ensemble

We hit the stage with Damon Albarn for the finale of his show, then ended the show with Jerry Dammers playing Ghost Town. The song we played with Damon was a song we recorded with him our last time in the U.K. I love playing with these guys. You can expect to see more of us with The Good, The Bad, and The Queen. How about the Lincoln Center, NY? That's going to be a crazy show. Next up. Get ready for H.B.E at Joe's pub. See you there.

100,000 veiwers

This festival has been going on for thirty years. With different artist through the years, it has become the second largest fest in London. This year Hypnotic got to give some love and join the long list of the love music hate racism performers. Not playing original tunes though.

Love Music Hate Racism

Hey H.B.E world. i would love to catch you up on that we've done this year, but i'd rather just skip all that. Or we'll just talk about it later. Maybe. O.k, so we're in London right now. You got to love pound country. Europe show us a lot of love. We played for Damon Albarn and Jerry Dammers. We didn't play any standard H.B.E. it was their show. And yes we killed the show. Put anything before us and we'll put our brand on it. We're headed back to NY for our night at Joes pub on may 3rd.

CREATION

These shots were taken by a good friend of the band, William Mooney. What do you think? Check him out, he got skillz. http://gallery.mac.com/jmoo007

Back to H.Q

So after Depaul, it was right back to head quarters. Working on the $4th piece of Hypnotic's creative art at the Josh Roseman studio in WilliamsBurg.

Keepin it movin

It's hard to stay gone from the CHI. It's more than visiting family and chillin with friends. I sometimes forget how many thing you can do in Chicago. After having a brief reunion with the cultural community of Chicago, celebrating the First Fruits festival called Kwanzaa. We went back to NYC. But not for long. On the 22nd of that same month we partied with the Depaul University crowd. Giving them that Hypnotic sound that we don't give to often.

Hey bloggers. H.B.E is moving. Before we get to that lets take a recap of the year so far. We started the year out at Malcolm X college in Chicago. The Karamu Ya Imani(the festival of faith)
